Program:
1. Kees: Strategic Planning
Kees took us through the Strategic Planning Guide that members received last week and were asked to go through and fill in what they could
Over the next hour and 20 minutes, using PowerPoint, Kees went through the steps to set up a strategic plan for our club that he would like us to follow during his tenure as President from 2022-23
He went through the background material for this plan and then we spent time on the phases of this process
There was considerable discussion about where to hold our meetings
With many newcomers in Ridgetown over the past few years, suggestions were given as to how to make the club more visible in town
One was our being part of the May 14th event taking place at the arena (see item 2)
Another suggestion was to have posters put up in various business windows in town highlighting Rotary’s community projects and how to contact the club
It was very evident that Kees had done a lot of work on this project
He also showed us what he had done in the various priorities for the club
Members who had filled in information on the handout were asked to take it to Kees for him to check it out
2. Kees: An Info Event for Community newcomers
Kees asked for volunteers to sit with him on May 14th for 1 hr. each between the hours of 10 - 3 at the Ridgetown Arena to represent our Club
Other service clubs and organizations will also be present in the arena with their information
Committees:
1. Paul: Road Cleanup
Paul suggested May 16th, starting at 4:00 pm, in the Arena parking lot
After a short discussion, it was decided that there NOT be a road clean-up at this time.
Other Business:
1. Jeff: the next meeting is in May.
The suggested date was May 16th, 2022. Agreed
Meeting Dates in June are the 13th and 27th
President Jeff asked if there was “Anything for the good of Rotary?”
