Meeting Date: May 11th, 2025 at the Anglican Parish Hall. After a wonderful dinner prepared by the ACW, Kees started the meeting by thanking the ladies in the kitchen.

Program: There was no speaker. We discussed several topics put forward by President Ron.
a) Ron: The bylaw amendment
- Due to a lack of time, this has been postponed until the next business meeting,
b) David B:
- David ran the group though Assessing our Membership Numbers, “Sustained growth, Greater Community Impact”
- He outlined our current membership numbers, 15 active members with 5 honourary members
- He showed the projected numbers for D. 6380, with 1575 in July 1st 2004 and 1383 on July 1st 2024
- We were split into pairs and discussed 3 questions:
- Four things you like about our club,
Four things you do not like about our club and
What would you change about our club?
- Each group then gave their answers with some brief discussion about each
- David then showed “From few to many: A blueprint for growing small Rotary Clubs: District 7040”
- He highlighted 5 suggestions, with ideas in each
- 1. Personal Invitations and Engagement
- 2. Public Relations and Community Presence
- 3. Diverse and Inclusive Strategies
- 4. Create Engaging Programs
- 5. Develop a Strategic Membership Plan
- We discussed these 5 suggestions as to how they could apply to our own club
- David also gave us the 4 parts of what he saw was our strategic plan:
- Increase our impact
Expand our reach

Enhance Participant Engagement
Increase our Ability to Adapt
- Finally, he asked “How can our club ensure your continued interest & engagement in the coming year?
- He forwarded to each member the full Powerpoint presentation for their consideration
- David will contacting each of our members over coffee etc to discuss these ideas and their own thoughts
Committees:
a. Bob: Car Show + 150 Anniversary
- July 13, 2025 Flyers are out
- Flyers have been put around Ridgetown and area
- It was suggested that those bringing vehicles to the show register their email address, so they can be contacted in the future
b) Kees: Medical storage room clean out
- A few members will go to Yeck’s and sort out the equipment and sort out the good from the bad
- At a later date, the equipment which is not of any use will be gotten rid of, with some perhaps being taken to Loads of Love if they can use it, perhaps to be sent to the Ukraine
