• The signup sheet was passed around
• Paul will go to Horton’s re coffee and Tim Bits
• Brian will confirm that we have hydro
• Kees will confirm the porta potties, stressing the need for them to get there by 7:30 am
• Ron will get a couple of cases of water, with a reminder from Paul
• Brian will look after putting up the signs, with Kees doing the blow-up Rotary sign
• Several folks will be coming to help with the 50-50 ticket sales and coordination

• It was stressed that we need Beatrice to be at a meeting so that we can decide where the club will go with this
• Kees/Ron will resend to members Beatrice’s proposal and members are asked to read (reread) it and make up a list of questions for Beatrice about the proposal

• Ron listed from last July the many activities we have taken part in over the year
• Purchasing the inflatable Rotary Wheel, visiting Elka’s Magic Art Studio in Kent Bridge and the Animation Studio in New Scotland
• Tree planting at the Memorial Tree Trail, with help from the Horticultural Society and the 1^st Scouts along with a District grant
• Corn stalks on the light poles in downtown Ridgetown, sharing the pancake breakfast with the 1^st Scouts as a fund raiser for the Scouts and finally the Easter Egg Hunt at the Scout Hut
• As Ron said, we are small in numbers but when help is needed, we all pitch in to help
• We welcomed Beatrice and David B to the club
• This coming year will be different as we don’t have a President-Elect or a President and the meetings will run next year with 5 Leaders, each responsible for 4 meetings in a given time period with Ron overseeing the whole year
• What is still required for next year, the last month of June, is a Leader to oversee 2 meetings
• The theme for Rotary 24-25 is The Magic of Rotary
• The good that our club does within our community sometimes seems to be magic
• In such areas as supplying palliative care for those in need, at no cost, certainly may seem to be magic to those who receive that care and without that care some would certainly be at a loss
• Ron thanked those few members involved in the scrap metal project which raises a large amount of the money for the club each year
• In closing, Ron thanked all those involved in corn stalks, tree planting, pancake breakfast, Easter Egg hunt and car show plus the many other things that our members do throughout the year
• Thanks also to Reinout for looking after the financial affairs of the club, Paul for keeping the minutes, David K for setting up for each meeting and providing the lighter entertainment at the end of each meeting and finally the directors for being there through thick and thin all year
• Ron received a standing ovation for all his work this year

• Henny, Kees, Ben, Bob and David B were sworn in as leaders for one of the 4 meeting units of the 2024-25 year
• He read their duties for their session, including making up the agenda and running the meetings held during their session

• Ron swore in Reinout for continuing duty as Treasurer

• Ron swore in Paul for continuing duty as Secretary

• Ron swore in David K. for continuing duty as Sergeant-at-Arms

• Ron swore in Henny, Kees, Ben, Bob and David B as Directors for the coming year

• July 15^th  The car show on July 14^th will count as this meeting
• July 29^th  Meeting to take place at Roesch Meats

•  Aug12^th  Henny is still working on this, with perhaps a tour of Adam Frazee”s stained Glass business
• Aug 26^th  Meeting to take place at David Brian’s home on Rose Beach Line

• Unless we hear something soon, we will not have a float in this year’s parade
