After a fine meal at GraveDiggerz, the members crossed over to the Dead Metal Garage and Speed Shop
Out front of this amazing shop representing a Supertest Service station, are wooden gas pumps that Dave built himself because the originals were gone.
They of course do not pump any gas, but trick many folks looking for a fill-up
Owner Dave “The Wheel” Charlton gave us a brief history of his career in the motor business
He started gas, in the Tillsonburg area, at the age of 15 and bought the gas station when he was 17
He then went from there through a wide assortment of businesses ending up when he retired owning quite a large company that stretched from Windsor to Montreal
He then let the members wander through his 3-bay shop that is crammed with a wide assortment of car and motorcycle parts, models of all sorts of vehicles and license plates
Dave also has about 10-12 smaller 120-150 cc motorcycles with close to another 200 another stored in other warehouses.
He certainly has an amazing collection of auto memorabilia and it was a great way to spend a Tuesday evening.

President David closed the meeting at about 7:30 pm.
The next meeting is on: Aug 11, 2025, at Truly Green Farms on Bloomfield Road 162, at 4:00 pm with supper to follow at Boston Pizza in Chatham.
