Program:  Leader Henny Boeters introduced the speaker Louis Roesch
  • Note:  Because of the air conditioning in the room we were in, hearing Louis was very hard, so my notes below are very short and somewhat disjointed
  • Louis started in the business in 1995, with his father and his brother, when he worked as a summer student
  • He has been working here for 61 years
  • Louis and Clara married in 1996, and they have 7 daughters and one son
  • Their son and his wife work full time in the business, but none of the daughters do
  • He is always willing to help other farmers
  • During COVID, they did not shut down
  • They always do things the way they should be done
  • Louis spoke about questioning inspectors when they came to their farm and meat business, but I missed most of what he said
